About The Artificers Forge

Our Story

It all started a long time ago (1989 to be exact) when I received my very first miniature based board game, HeroQuest, for Christmas!

At this time, I was already engrossed in the fantasy world of Krynn, from the amazing Dragonlance books, and so this board game, with it’s plastic miniature heroes and monsters, was a dream come true and I remember eagerly visiting the local toy shop to buy Humbrol enamel paints and gloriously bring my fantastic new models to life!

To be honest they looked terrible, but it kick started a life long passion for miniature based tabletop gaming!

Fast forward many years later, while on a family visit to the Manchester Museum of Science and Industry, I chanced upon a 3D printing exhibition… and was blown away with the possibilities for enhancing tabletop games!

Soon after, The Artificers Forge was born, supplying 3D printed accessories and terrain designed to improve your tabletop gaming experience!

Based in Manchester, UK, and shipping worldwide, I now have many very happy customers – just check out the Reviews page here!

The Artificers Forge product range is constantly growing and any new ideas or bespoke requests are always most welcome!

Our Approach

Every one of The Artificers Forge products is individually 3D printed to order, using the highest grade PLA filament, and then carefully prepared by hand to the highest standard before shipping.

Every product you find on my website has either been designed by myself, or commercially licenced from wonderful creators such as Printable Scenery or Fates End Studios. There is absolutely NO ‘AI’ involvement whatsoever.

The Artificers Forge believes the natural creativity of the human mind should be celebrated and venerated over and above idea stealing imposters.
